Journal of a cruise in U.S. Ship Vincennes. Charles Wilkes Esqre. Commander / by James L. Blair, 1841-1842.

The journal begins in the Harbor of Honolulu and records the voyage of the ship Vincennes to Manila Bay, Mangsee Islands, Singapore, Table Bay, James Town, and St. Helena. Copied into the jounral is a 1841 letter from Comdr. Wilkes refusing James Blair's request to return home.
